LawCrew is a tool that produces draft legal documents. To keep the service safe and lawful for everyone, you must use it within the limits below. Breaking this policy can lead to suspension or termination of your account.
Don't use LawCrew to
- Produce documents intended to commit or further fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or identity theft.
- Produce documents that further money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, or bribery / corruption.
- Produce documents intended to intimidate, harass, threaten, defame, or extort any person.
- Produce documents involving minors in any sexual, abusive, or exploitative manner, or any sexually explicit document involving any person without their lawful consent.
- Produce documents that impersonate another individual or organisation, including forged signatures, false letterheads, or fake official instruments.
- Produce documents to evade lawful tax, regulatory, or licensing obligations.
- Produce documents that infringe intellectual-property rights, trade secrets, or confidentiality obligations you owe to others.
- Hold yourself out as a lawyer or as our partner, or use our drafts to give others the impression they have received legal advice when they have not.
- Pass off LawCrew drafts as the work of a qualified lawyer without that lawyer's genuine review and engagement.
- Upload personal data of third parties (for example, counterparties, employees, family members) without a lawful basis to do so under the PDPA or your local data-protection law.
- Reverse-engineer the service, scrape it at scale, abuse the API, or attempt to extract our prompts, templates, or model behaviour, except to the limited extent that such activity is expressly permitted by mandatory law (for example, section 116 of the Singapore Copyright Act 2021 for interoperability purposes, on the conditions set out there).
- Upload malware, exploit code, or anything designed to compromise other users or our systems.
- Access or use the service from, or on behalf of any person ordinarily resident in, a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions applied by Singapore, the United Nations, the United States (OFAC), the United Kingdom, the European Union, or any other sanctions regime applicable to LawCrew, or for any purpose prohibited by export-control or trade-control laws.
- Use the service in violation of Singapore law, including the Legal Profession Act 1966, the data-protection laws applicable to the data you upload (such as the PDPA), the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act 1992, the Monetary Authority of Singapore's AML/CFT requirements (where applicable to you), or sanctions regimes applied by Singapore.
You must
- Give accurate information about the parties, facts, and intent of each matter.
- Have a qualified lawyer review any draft before you sign, send, or rely on it.
- Tell us promptly if your account is compromised.
- Comply with the laws of your own jurisdiction where you use a draft.
Enforcement
We may suspend access, refuse a generation, withhold output, or terminate your account if we have a reasonable belief that you have breached this policy. We may report material breaches to law-enforcement or regulatory authorities where we are required or permitted to do so.
